The Unibrain Fire-i™ Digital Board Camera Remote CCD is an IEEE-1394 IIDC 1.04 compliant CCD progressive scan board level camera with VGA resolution. This model features a Remote CCD connected to the main board via a high density 6-inch flat cable which allows the CCD to be remote from the power electronics offering the ability to place the CCD head and lens in a small volume. It is suitable for industrial OEM applications and outputs uncompressed VGA images. Available in both monochrome and colour versions, this camera is capable of speeds of up to 30 frames per second at full resolution.

This camera has an on-board 6 pin 1394a port and a second 6 pin 1394a port on a removable daughter board. The extra light sensitivity and low smear minimise airtifacts to provide a superior video grade image. The standard M12x0.5 lens base provides for a variety of S-mount lens options.
