In 2003 TenAsys released version 2.2 of INtime. Notable features of version 2.2 include: Real-time Shared Libraries, or RSLs, which are the functional equivalent of the Windows Dynamically Loaded Libraries, or DLLs. Support for the development of USB clients, and USB host control drivers for OHCI, UHCI and EHCI (USB 2.0) devices. PowerDNA drivers and software, includes UEIDAQ Framework library (Version #4.10.1.20): Supports Cube and RACKtangle chassis; Drivers for Windows programming languages (XP/NT and later) LabVIEW and MATLAB drivers; ActiveX / OPC interface; Built-in hardware simulator; Includes TenAsys INtime driver; Instantly download. In order to facilitate the use of NI hardware in an INtime real-time application, TenAsys has ported the National Instruments MH-DDK (Measurement Hardware Driver Development Kit) OS interface (OSI) library to the INtime RTOS.

  1. Windows Extension (ntx) API. Part of the INtime CIF Driver package is a replacement DLL named cif32dll.dll. This DLL replaces the one provided by Hilscher GmbH with their Windows driver. Once installed, the TenAsys cif32dll.dll DLL routes calls from Windows applications such as SyCon and MsgDbg (both from Hilscher GmbH) to the INtime CIF driver.

This page refers to the legacy network stack which was shipped with INtime versions prior to 4.0, and with the current versions as 'legacy network'.

The INtime RTOS includes Ethernet drivers as standard binary components. These Ethernet drivers are for use with the INtime TCP/IP stack and operate independently of the Windows TCP/IP stack. INtime applications can use a standard sockets API to access the INtime TCP/IP network stack.

Windows Ethernet device drivers cannot be used to access the INtime real-time TCP/IP stack. (This is true for any hardware device you access from an INtime application.) You must load and use an INtime Ethernet device driver if you wish to use the INtime TCP/IP stack.

NIC drivers for the following LAN adapters are available for the INtime RTOS. They are listed by their manufacturer's product name. Hardware devices that are claimed to be compatible with these may also work. (Note that features and functions of the following hardware devices are subject to change by the manufacturer without notice to TenAsys.)

Note: Sometimes the chipset part numbers are different than the family part numbers. For example, there is a family of Intel 82562 parts, which are variations on the chipset versions of the Intel 8255x components.
